A new, but very dear brother in the Kingdom is a “Communicator.” He happened to be speaking close enough to me that I went to see him speak last night. As he was sharing he talked about how science has proven how unique, valuable, rare, each one of us are. He added of the Billions of people on the Earth no two humans have exactly the same fingerprints. Everywhere you go, everything you touch can be traced back to you. Likewise, everyone we come in contact with we have an opportunity to leave a mark on their lives, sometimes it is a positive and uplifting one, and other times it is not. We leave a mark on the lives of others because our personalities, our gifts, our talents, and our experiences are all just as unique, valuable, and rare as our fingerprints.
Many of as are familiar with Psalms 139:13-14, but we often stop there. When we read on to verse 18 we realize how loved and precious we are in the eyes of our creator and Heavenly Father.
For You created my innermost parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You When I was made in secret, And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my formless substance; And in Your book were written All the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts for me, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You. Psalms 139:13-18
So, my dear friends, brothers, and sisters, no matter what challenges you are facing, how dark and dreary the storm, or how you think or feel in the midst of them –
YOU ARE SPECIAL, UNIQUE, VALUABLE, PRECIOUS AND LOVED!
