There are people across the country celebrating the outcomes of this weeks elections. I even saw a video that had a sign that was hung behind the podium of one of Former President Trump’s rallies that read, “Trump will Fix It.” Well, there are some things that he and his administration with some help from the legislator can fix. However, there are many more that are not “fixable” by passing laws, signing Presidential Declarations or any other political action.
To be honest most of the changes and “fixing” that is needed in our land can only come from one place. Let me correct that statement. What we need can come from only one Being. That being our gracious, loving Heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus and by the power of His Holy Spirit.
My brothers and sisters, yes I am grateful and rejoice that the political direction of our country is aligning more with Biblical principles. However, there are so many other things going on in our country that government has no way of fixing. The only True and Real Hope for our country to be all that it can be comes back to our desperate need for a fresh new outpouring of the Holy Spirit and REAL Revival. As I have mentioned before, we MUST do as we have read before in II Chronicles 7:14-15.
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
2 Chronicles 7:14-15
I guess what I am trying to say is now is NOT the time to let up. We must continue to call out to the Lord. We must also remember that despite what it seems, our battle is not against flesh and blood. Thus, we must keep fighting, we must stand and keep standing, not in our strength but in the power of His might.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10
We know that when we do our part, when we hear His call, answer it and do as He asks, then He will keep His promises.
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20
I know these thoughts have been a mess and all over the place, but I hope you can hear and understand my heart and will join me in this fight and lift voice as one with mine as we call out to the Lord for Revival.
