Our loving faithful and true Father as we enter into this new journey, we ask that you would shine The Light of The Spirit into every closet and corner of our hearts and lives. Where there is ANY kind of darkness of sin we repent and seek your forgiveness. Whether they be sins in our thoughts or our actions, sins of commission or sins of omission (things we were asked to do, but did not) we humbly come before confessing, believing and receiving the forgiveness and redemption that was paid on our behalf at the cross.
Test our hearts and give us faith, courage and strength that only you can where we have anxiety, doubt and fear. We surrender the little that we have and lay it at your feet believing that as we surrender our weakness you will raise us up into strength and boldness.
We desire nothing more than your will for our lives and pray that in every step, in every breath we take You will guide us in YOUR way by the urging of your Spirit.
May we know your tangible presence even in the mundane as we go through this day. May you reveal your abundant love and fondness of each one of us to us individually. Give us the grace to be able to fully acknowledge and RECEIVE it.
Finally just as the Son prayed – For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”
