My loving and faithful Father I thank You for the unimaginable amount of love that you demonstrated towards me and all mankind by allowing The Son to lay down His life on the Cross I thank You for all that this simple act accomplished including granting me the privilege to now come before you boldly with respect and reverence, yet without fear. I thank you and praise You that through the Cross and Resurrection the instant that I accepted the gifts of Grace and redemption which these events purchased for me, My relationship with You was restored. At that same moment All of my past sins and failures were forgiven and forgotten and all my past hurts have been healed. Truly I am a “New Creature” and “All things are new.”
Lord, even as You died and were resurrected into new life by The Spirit, so have you given me the same life. Yet now by The Spirit it is no longer I in my own strength and striving that live. I surrender ALL of who I am, my sin, my hurts and burdens, my fears, my strengths, my gifts and talents. I give YOU everything. You died for Me I will Live for you! I know that there are days I will want to and possibly even pick some of these back up, but I ask that you cause FAITH to grow in me. I pray that You guide me by The Spirit and give me courage and boldness to live a life of COMPLETE abandonment and Faith in you. May ALL that I say and do be uplifting and bring others closer to you and ultimately bring only GLORY and HONOR to You,
SPIRIT – COME and be tangibly present and guide me along the path that I will walk only in the PERFECT will of the Father.
I again thank you for the Son through whose sacrifice I have been able to come before you and whose name, that is above every name that I pray.
