The world and specifically the Middle East being as it is at this point in history, now as much if not more than ever is the time for the Body of Christ to stand at the side of our brothers and sisters in Israel as they fight a war for their very existence. Below are just a few of the many passages that we can use to help is in our callIng out to our Heavenly Father and their’s on their behalf.

Psalms 122:6-9
[6] Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. [7] May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” [8] For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” [9] For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Isaiah 62:1-4
[1] For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. [2] The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. [3] You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. [4] No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.

Psalms 102:12-22
[12] But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations. [13] You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come. [14] For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity. [15] The nations will fear the name of the Lord, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory. [16] For the Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory. [17] He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their plea. [18] Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord: [19] “The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, [20] to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.” [21] So the name of the Lord will be declared in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem [22] when the peoples and the kingdoms assemble to worship the Lord.
